On March 9, candidates running for National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, term 2026 - 2031, constituency No. 7, An Giang province had a meeting with voters in Tay Yen commune.
After listening to the biography and the candidate presenting the action program, voters in Tay Yen commune sent their recommendations and hoped that if the delegates were elected, they would pay attention to and overcome the local difficulties.
Voter Nguyen Van Dung commented: "Shrimp and rice currently have an environmental impact, so what solutions are there to balance, both stabilize livelihoods for people and ensure the environment in the long term?

Voter Huynh Huu Tri expressed his wish that the elected people pay attention to agricultural issues. Localities producing 1 shrimp crop and 1 rice crop are initially effective but not satisfactory, people are concerned that prices are not stable despite consumption links and increased supplies. Voters send more attention to shrimp and rice production cooperatives, creating conditions for long-term stable links. In addition, invest in traffic roads and irrigation so that farmers can feel secure in production.
Voter Dang Quang Vinh expressed his desire to have policies to care for local officials and invest in more infrastructure because some works have deteriorated.
Voter Vo Van Hoang expressed his desire that local health facilities must have full equipment, so that people have conditions for medical examination and treatment in the locality, both reducing the overload for the provincial level and creating favorable conditions for people not to travel far but to be treated well right in the locality. Voters are also concerned about the situation of cheap rice and shrimp farming prices being unstable, but fuel sources are increasing too much, gasoline and oil are increasing, and farmers are facing difficulties.

Voter Nguyen Van Liem expressed his hope that elected delegates will pay attention to policies to support human resources to perform work in the People's Self-Management Group; promote the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses more so that poor households have stable housing to live in. In addition, invest in standard rural roads because the roads are currently small, and travel is still difficult, affecting economic development.
Presenting her action program, Ms. Nguyen Quynh Lien - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism Committee, Deputy Chairwoman of the Democracy - Law Advisory Council of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - said: Understanding the difficulties of the locality, I clearly see the responsibility of a National Assembly deputy before voters and people, requiring myself to continue to make more efforts to fully understand the requirements being raised from the reality of An Bien commune as well as of the entire An Giang province, on that basis, there is a direction to strive and contribute to the common development of the province and the commune.

If trusted to be elected as a National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, Ms. Lien committed: "I will always promote the spirit and responsibility of a deputy who grew up from law officials and the front "listen to the people, speak for the people to understand, make the people believe". Candidate Huynh Kim Minh Tam - Head of the Line Direction Department of Kien Giang General Hospital said that he is very sympathetic to the voters' opinions.
Ms. Tam said that the province has a Project on transferring commune, ward, and special zone health stations into public non-business units under the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones. The province also directed the Department of Health and Kien Giang General Hospital to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to review the legal basis, complete dossiers and procedures to soon submit to competent authorities for approval for the Project "Investment in the development of Kien Giang Provincial General Hospital undertaking the function of the Mekong Delta region". Advise on allocating capital in 2026 to implement investment in building and expanding an additional 300 beds and purchasing medical equipment for Kien Giang General Hospital undertaking the function of a hospital in the Mekong Delta region, ensuring project implementation and commencement in 2026.
The province has also had a plan to consider human resources, so that in the near future there will be enough doctors covering all areas, ensuring good medical examination and treatment for people.
