Attending and directing were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue Chi, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City; Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation.
At the conference, representatives of 10 units of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thoi Long and Trung Nhut wards, Vinh Trinh, Phu Huu, Tan Binh communes, An Ninh, Thuan Hoa, My Tu, Truong Khanh, and Long Hung presented the draft Political Report and Personnel Project of the Congress. The content of the document focuses on evaluating the results of the Front's work in the past term, advantages, limitations, lessons learned; at the same time, determining the main directions, goals, tasks, and solutions in the new term.
The leaders of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City highly appreciated the preparation work of the units, especially the development of draft political reports and review reports, ensuring closely following the City's instructions; reflecting the outstanding results in the past term, determining the key directions and tasks for the coming term.
Through the approval of the document, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City also commented, adjusted and supplemented many important contents, especially breakthroughs, targets and solutions to improve the quality of emulation movements, application of information technology, digital transformation, major campaigns of the Front, further promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc at the grassroots level.
According to the plan, after completing the document approval, 10 communes and wards will organize the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the grassroots level, ensuring progress and quality, contributing to the overall success of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City for the 2025 - 2030 term.
