On the morning of March 8, in Nha Trang ward, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union organized an ao dai parade program to honor the value of "Ao Dai - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage", attracting more than 3,000 participants.
The activity is part of a series of events to celebrate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8th) and the 1,986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, and at the same time launch a emulation movement to celebrate the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
The program has the participation of more than 3,000 women from many social classes such as cadres, civil servants, public employees, students, entrepreneurs, workers and families of many generations.
The event also attracted the participation of some international friends living, working and traveling in the locality.


In the area of 2-4 Square (Nha Trang ward), delegates and women's union members participated in art performances, performing the theme "Ao Dai - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage", creating a lively atmosphere, honoring the traditional beauty of Vietnamese women.
At about 6:30 am, the parade began departing from the square area, moving along Tran Phu coastal road.
Leading the delegation were leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments, agencies, branches, and mass organizations of the province in traditional ao dai costumes with many brilliant colors.

Present from 5:30 am to participate in the program, Ms. Tran Thi Anh Dao - a teacher at Vinh Trung Kindergarten (Tay Nha Trang ward) - said that the cool early morning weather made the atmosphere of March 8th even more joyful and exciting.
Participating in the parade helps women feel more clearly the spirit of cohesion between female union members. Everyone is very proud, more loves and cherishes the Vietnamese ao dai," Ms. Dao shared.
The parade on the coastal road also attracted the attention of many international tourists. Many people stopped to record and capture the unique moments of the ao dai in the morning of Nha Trang.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, March 8th every year is an occasion to honor the role and contributions of women to family and society.
Khanh Hoa women always strive to study, train, and promote the good qualities of Vietnamese women, making positive contributions to the development of the locality. In the coming time, the province will continue to pay attention to and create conditions for women to promote their abilities and contribute more to the overall development.
