On September 6, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Phuoc Thang ward (HCMC) said that it had launched a campaign to respond to the emulation movement "All people join hands to protect the environment, for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam" phase 3 of the third quarter of 2026.
The activity is organized with the goal of propagating and mobilizing people to actively participate in maintaining environmental sanitation, building a civilized urban lifestyle; at the same time, responding to the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" and the movement "Green Sunday". Thereby contributing to building bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe roads in the ward.
Activities in the launching program have been deployed simultaneously at many locations: public land area near Long Son intersection; public land area next to Quarter 6 headquarters (No. 1201 30/4 street) and in neighborhoods in the area. Thereby attracting more than 300 officials, union members, association members, soldiers of various forces and a large number of people to participate.
Many practical tasks such as clearing trees and grass, cleaning up the environment, collecting waste, cleaning up public land and embellishing the urban landscape have been implemented synchronously, contributing to ensuring environmental safety and hygiene, and improving urban aesthetics in the area.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thang ward, this is a meaningful activity to raise awareness, promote the role and responsibility of each official, union member, association member and people in environmental protection, building a civilized urban lifestyle, and at the same time spreading the spirit of joining hands for the community.
In the coming time, the VFF Committee of the ward and socio-political organizations will continue to maintain environmental sanitation activities, launch the "Green Sunday" movement regularly in residential areas, contributing to building Phuoc Thang ward to become increasingly civilized, modern and sustainable.
