The 2025 Autumn Fair is a national trade promotion event chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with ministries, branches and the Hanoi People's Committee from October 25 to November 4, 2025 at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center (VEC), Dong Anh, Hanoi. The fair is expected to have a scale of more than 130,000m2 of exhibition space, 3,000 booths and 2,500 participating businesses.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter on October 22, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Social Work Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - said that the 2025 Autumn Fair is very large-scale, with the number of up to thousands of brands and nearly 3,000 booths. This is a fair to introduce products, especially commercial products of our country, agricultural products, other manufactured products of our country, creating a comprehensive picture and an opportunity to introduce and promote products very strongly.
" Participating in this fair has great competition for high-quality Vietnamese products. This is also a very important activity to promote the movement "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", supporting this campaign very well," said Mr. Cao Xuan Thao.
In addition, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao added that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is calling on organizations and individuals to support people affected by storms and floods. On the occasion of this event, the program will include content calling on brands, companies, and corporations participating in the fair to join hands to support people affected by storms and floods.
The campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" has been implemented since 2009 according to the announcement of Conclusion No. 264-TB/TW of the Politburo in the context of the world economic crisis strongly affecting our country's economy. The goal of the Campaign is to "encourage patriotism, self-reliance, self-reliance, and national pride to build a consumer culture, while promoting economic production and exporting our country's goods abroad.
In November 2024, at the summary of the campaign, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the campaign has contributed to the excellent completion of economic indicators in the direction of curbing inflation and stabilizing the macro economy. The total circulation of retail goods and services from 2009 to November 2024 continuously achieved a growth rate of over and under 10% compared to the previous year. Vietnamese goods in distribution channels account for a fairly high proportion, over 80% in supermarkets; from 60% or more in traditional retail channels; gradually forming strong enough economic groups, leading industrial segments. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has closely coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to synchronously and widely propagate the campaign in units and localities.
