On February 4, the Standing Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee received the Standing Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee led by Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - to visit and wish Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Receiving the delegation were Mr. Tran Van Lau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Kim Ngoc Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
At the reception, Vinh Long Provincial Party Secretary Tran Van Lau, on behalf of the Party Committee, government and people in the province, provided general information on the socio-economic development situation, potentials, advantages as well as difficulties and challenges of the locality in the coming time.
The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his wish that Ho Chi Minh City will continue to pay attention, closely coordinate, and share experiences in attracting potential and strategic investors; support training and improving the quality of human resources, especially high-quality human resources, contributing to helping Vinh Long develop quickly and sustainably.
On the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday of the nation, Mr. Tran Van Lau wished the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City a new year of good health, happiness and continued to achieve many important achievements in socio-economic development.
On behalf of the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Le Quoc Phong informed about the socio-economic situation of the city in 2025, along with key goals and solutions for 2026, focusing on attracting strategic investors, creating growth momentum and better caring for people's lives.
Mr. Le Quoc Phong wished the Party Committee, government and people of Vinh Long province a new year of peace, prosperity, and completion of the set goals.
On this occasion, Ho Chi Minh City leaders supported Vinh Long province with 500 million VND to take care of social security; and presented Tet gifts to foster children of border guard stations and young children in the "Raising Steps for Children to School" program on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
