Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga emphasized that the Draft Documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress are the crystallization of the intelligence, bravery, and strategic vision of the entire Party, including many important new points, with development in theoretical and practical thinking. Vice President Ha Thi Nga suggested that the members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, ministries, and comrades focus on discussing and giving practical opinions on new issues of draft documents; breakthrough contents, especially the issue of promoting the role of the people, socialist democracy; promoting the strength of national solidarity; comprehensive human development.
Contributing opinions at the Conference, Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Duong, Chairman of the Advisory Council on Democracy and Law of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, said that in order for the concept of "continuing to innovate development thinking" in the new era to become a perfect theoretical problem, demonstrating the Party's vision, intelligence and roadmap in a profound and comprehensive way, it is necessary to clarify the content of this concept. "Continuing to innovate development thinking" means identifying growth drivers such as resources, labor, science and technology, innovation...; ways of organizing and operating the economy and society; ways of building institutions and managing resources... Therefore, on the basis of clarifying the content of the viewpoint of "continuing to innovate development thinking" in the new period, it is necessary to supplement and clarify the role of "continuing to innovate development thinking" in national development.
Regarding the Draft Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on socialist-oriented innovation in the past 40 years in Vietnam, Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Duong said that the report needs to analyze and prove more fully and deeply the creative development of socialist-oriented market economy theory, because this is a specific economic model only available in our country.
"The content of harmoniously combining the market with the socialist orientation, fairness and social progress needs to be clarified; at the same time, it is necessary to clarify the specific criteria for assessing the socialist orientation in developing a market economy", Mr. Duong suggested.
According to Prof. Dr. Phan Trung Ly, member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, former Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee, in the content of the Draft, the section on building the great national unity bloc, promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations is a particularly important point. This is not only a political - social issue, but also a basic institutional requirement to ensure that the people's right to mastery is effectively implemented through supervision, social criticism and policy recommendations.
Suggesting some orientations and solutions to strongly and substantially promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the coming period, Prof. Dr. Phan Trung Ly said that it is necessary to clearly recognize that the Front's supervision and social criticism is not "support", but a form of supervision of people's power, established by the 2013 Constitution and Decision No. 217-QD/TW, 218-QD/TW of the Politburo.
Accordingly, the Draft Document needs to supplement the orientation: Develop a clear, stable, and mandatory legal mechanism for state agencies, Party organizations, and authorities at all levels to be responsible for receiving and explaining the results of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Upgrading the current legal framework (amending the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front 2015, guiding decrees) to specifically determine the authority, process, standards, and responsibility for explaining after supervision and criticism.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front suggested that members of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels should focus on natural disaster prevention, floods, especially activities to help people overcome the consequences of recent floods and rains, and soon stabilize their lives.
Along with that, it is necessary to organize conferences in many different forms to collect opinions from the people, socio-political organizations, mass organizations, and other member organizations on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; Prepare conditions to successfully organize the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the provincial level and the Congress of socio-political organizations at the provincial level.
Also according to Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels needs to organize activities well to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025) in accordance with the actual circumstances in the locality in a practical and effective direction towards the people and going into specific issues in communities of residential areas.
At the same time, focus on performing well the regular tasks, especially the new tasks according to the direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, General Secretary To Lam, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, the Central organizations and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
