On behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front sent a letter of thanks to Samdech Men Sam An, Vice President of the Cambodian People's Party, Chairman of the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for expressing condolences, visits and solidarity in the face of the heavy damage caused by floods and natural disasters in some localities of Vietnam in the recent past.
The content of the letter reads:
I would like to sincerely thank Samdech Men Sam An and the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for sending condolences, visits and expressing solidarity for the heavy damage caused by floods and natural disasters in some localities in Vietnam in recent times.
Samdech Men Sam An's sincere words of encouragement and sharing are a great source of encouragement for the Vietnamese people, especially for families and communities affected by natural disasters. That once again demonstrates the traditional solidarity, friendship and closeness between the people of Cambodia and Vietnam.
We believe that, with the cooperation of the whole society and the support of international friends, including the National Council of the Cambodian Fatherland Front for Solidarity and Development, Vietnam will soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize people's lives and restore socio-economic development.
