On the afternoon of July 2, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province held a conference to announce decisions on the establishment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the decision to establish the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Agency.
Previously, on June 18, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued Decision No. 475 to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province on the basis of reorganizing after the merger of provinces. This decision was officially announced at the Ceremony to announce resolutions and decisions on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units held on June 30.
At the conference, the organizing committee announced the decision to establish a specialized agency to assist the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the decision to recognize the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province announced 187 decisions on the transfer, appointment, and assignment of cadres to professional departments and agency offices.
10 comrades were appointed Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. In which, Mr. Nguyen The Lap - Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The organization is being improved to ensure the apparatus operates stably and smoothly, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that the establishment and completion of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province is a particularly important step, taking place in the context of the whole province actively implementing the reorganization of the apparatus after the merger. Mr. Le Ngoc Quang believes that the Front's cadres will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, creativity, and actively contribute to the overall development of Quang Tri province.
