On November 26, Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan and the working delegation inspected the progress of a number of social housing projects in the area.
Through on-site inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan acknowledged and praised the positivity and proactiveness of investors in accelerating the progress of infrastructure construction and social housing areas.
The Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to review and adjust the planning; increase the social housing development target by 2030 to 41,000 apartments, exceeding 44% of the original plan. At the same time, develop large social housing areas, planned to fully integrate utilities.
To achieve this goal, the government will apply a green flow mechanism for key projects, including social housing projects. Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan requested to improve the quality of social housing construction, study appropriate prices instead of focusing only on the low-priced segment.
In response to TNG Land Joint Stock Company's proposal to study and issue cards to people eligible to buy social housing, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments and branches to receive and propose to the Central Government in the direction of issuing cards to strengthen management. Thereby, ensuring publicity and preventing the situation where one person is bought in many different social housing projects.
The Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee also assigned departments and branches to urgently issue clear instructions on converting housing types; standardize the process of adjusting detailed planning for projects.
