Speaking at the Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) for the 2025 - 2030 period, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the VFF Party Committee, Central organizations, Vice President - General Secretary of the VFF Central Committee affirmed that the Congress is of great significance, held immediately after implementing the policy of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat on restructuring the apparatus, a special milestone after merging and arranging socio-political organizations under the VFF.
The Congress aims to evaluate the results of the patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2020 - 2025; honor and commend typical advanced examples, at the same time draw lessons, point out limitations and shortcomings; determine the direction and tasks of emulation and reward work of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the period of 2025 - 2030.
According to Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, thoroughly grasping President Ho Chi Minh's ideology and the Party's viewpoints on patriotic emulation, in recent years, the patriotic emulation movement of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has been practically implemented and achieved many important results.
Cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers have continuously made efforts, tried, and advised to promote propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of all classes of people, strengthen social consensus, promote the strength of the great national unity bloc; improve the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism, implement democracy, actively participate in building the Party and State; encourage all classes of people to proactively participate in solving major social problems, effectively implementing campaigns and patriotic emulation movements such as "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "The whole country joins hands for the poor", eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, calling on the business community, all classes of people in the country and abroad to actively support thousands of billions of people to overcome the consequences of floods; continuing to improve the effectiveness of the work of the Vietnam People's Front and the work of the Vietnamese people in the civil war; continuing to organize and improve the effectiveness of the Vietnamese people's work to overcome the consequences of the Vietnamese people's internal conflicts.
Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha affirmed that over the past 5 years, under the attention of the Party's leadership and the direct direction of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the emulation and reward work of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has had a new step of development. The patriotic emulation movement is implemented in conjunction with the implementation of the agency's political tasks, closely following the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, promoting the strength of solidarity, intelligence, sense of responsibility and creativity of the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the agency. The reward work is increasingly put into order, ensuring democracy, publicity, transparency, and timeliness, encouraging and honoring collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements, thereby contributing to creating new motivation and momentum, improving the effectiveness of performing tasks of the entire agency.
Expressing his opinion at the Congress, Mr. Vu Van Tien - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that the implementation of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system and member organizations has been seriously and fully implemented in the spirit of Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo in conjunction with the implementation of the Central Resolutions 4, terms XII and XIII. This is an voluntary, regular, and important task of each agency and individual. Concretizing the contents of Ho Chi Minh's study and practice according to ideology, morality and style in accordance with the tasks of the agency, associated with the implementation of the Resolution of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at all levels; campaigns and patriotic emulation movements contribute to the successful implementation of the political tasks of the locality and agency.
At the same time, closely combine the education, fostering and training of the organization, first of all the Party Committees and leaders at all levels with the regular self-education, self-cultivation, and self-training of the qualities and abilities of the staff and Party members. Party committees and leaders must always thoroughly grasp and do a good job of cultivating and training both ethics and talent for cadres everywhere, anytime, any job and in relationships. Focus on training cadres to proactively overcome all difficulties and hardships, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, be ready to accept and complete all assigned tasks well.
