On November 21, the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2025 - 2030, completed the program, unanimously approving the Resolution of the Congress and consulting to elect the Chairman, 8 Vice Chairmen and 119 members of the new Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The Congress took place at the Provincial Labor Culture House, with the participation of Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; delegates from departments, branches and localities and 300 delegates.
Over the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in Nghe An continued to innovate the content and methods of operation; complete the arrangement of the apparatus according to the two-level model; effectively implement campaigns and emulation movements; improve the quality of supervision - social criticism and expand people's foreign affairs activities.
At the first session, the General Meeting of Shareholders elected 119 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the 16th Province, including: 21 representatives of member organizations, 73 Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune level, 19 outstanding individuals and 6 full-time staff.
After the first session, the 16th Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held its first meeting to consult on the election of the Standing Committee. Based on the personnel plan approved by the Congress, the conference agreed to admit 9 members to the Standing Committee, including 1 Chairman and 8 Vice Chairmen.
Specifically, Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, XV) continued to be elected as Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, XV.
The list of 8 Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the 16th Province includes: Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the 15th Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the 15th Provincial Federation of Labor.
Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice President of the XV Party Committee, President of the Provincial Women's Union; Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice President of the XV Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union.
Mr. Nguyen Sy Hoi - Vice President of the XV course, Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association; Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - Vice President of the XV course; Ms. Tran Thi Thu Huong - Vice President of the XV course; Mr. Phan Sy Cuong - Vice President of the XV course.
For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province aims to build a team of professional and close-to-the-people Front cadres to meet the requirements of the new era; identifying digital transformation as a "breakthrough" solution to improve operational efficiency. The Congress set out 15 target groups and 6 key action programs.
In his speech, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy acknowledged the results of the Nghe An Fatherland Front, suggested closely following the Party's policies, promoting the strength of great solidarity, promoting supervision - social criticism and improving the effectiveness of campaigns in the spirit of "Truth - truth - truth - truth - make - real results".
Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than suggested that the Front system promote its core political role; arouse the potential - intelligence - creativity of the People, contributing to the goal of making Nghe An a fairly developed province, a growth zone of the whole country.
The Congress unanimously approved the Resolution of the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province with many breakthrough goals and tasks.
Speaking at the closing session of the congress, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province Vo Thi Minh Sinh suggested that the Front system and socio-political organizations quickly implement the Resolution; each delegate promote its core role in propagating, spreading the spirit of solidarity and new determination to each agency, locality and residential area.
