On February 4, Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - led a working delegation to Phu Quoi commune to implement the social security care program for the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Also attending the program were Mr. Kim Ngoc Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, along with comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and representatives of local departments and agencies.
The program focuses on giving Tet gifts to policy households, households in difficult circumstances, and at the same time visiting and encouraging officers, soldiers, adopted children of border guard stations and children in the "Raising Steps for Children to School" program.
At the gift-giving ceremony, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Vinh Long province presented 100 gifts to households, each gift including gifts and cash worth 1.5 million VND, contributing to sharing difficulties during Tet.
In addition, the working delegation presented 50 gifts to officers, soldiers, adopted children of border guard stations and students, each worth 2 million VND, showing concern for the force and young generation in the grassroots area.
Tet gifts are practically meaningful, not only providing material support but also showing the concern and encouragement of the Party Committee, government and Fatherland Front, helping people have more faith and will to rise up in life.
