On November 3, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Quy Special Zone (Lam Dong Province) said that it had visited and shared the loss with the family of crew member N.V.L, a worker on a fishing boat who fell into the sea and died.
Previously, the fishing boat with registration number BTh 81746TS had a capacity of 10CV and had 3 fishing workers. The ship is owned and captained by Mr. Tran Van Thanh (born in 1977, residing in Phu Quy Special Zone).
When the fishing boat was fishing in the Lach The beach area, about 1 nautical mile from Phu Quy Island, it discovered that crew member L (born in 1988) was no longer on the boat. The crew searched and later discovered the victim's body about 20 meters from the boat.
The body was brought ashore and reported to the authorities. Phu Quy Special Forces Police have completed the legal procedures and handed over the body to the family.
