On May 18, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City organized a conference to thoroughly grasp and implement the results of the 11th National Congress of the VFF, term 2026-2031 and the directing speech of General Secretary and President To Lam at the Congress.
The conference was organized directly combined with online sessions to communes, wards, and special zones in the city.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City requested the entire Front system of Ho Chi Minh City to start working immediately after the Congress; quickly concretize the spirit of the Resolution of the 11th Congress and the directing speech of General Secretary and President To Lam with specific programs, plans, projects, and tasks that are practical and close to practical requirements and needs of the people.
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc affirmed that the consistent spirit is to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation of the Front in the direction of "being close to the people, close to the people, respecting the people, understanding the people, learning from the people and being responsible to the people"; promoting the core political role in building the great national unity bloc.
At the same time, improve the effectiveness of supervision and social criticism; proactively participate in Party building and government building; promote digital transformation, administrative reform, and improve the quality of the Fatherland Front cadre team in the new situation.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City requested units to focus on widely propagating the results of the Congress; urgently organize learning and thoroughly grasping in the system; review and supplement work programs, clearly identify tasks, progress, and responsibilities for implementation; promote the spirit of action, determination to quickly bring the Congress Resolution into life, creating clear changes in the Front work from the city to the grassroots level.
