On August 19, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi held the 4th Conference, term XVIII, term 2024-2029.
The conference reached a treaty of 9 men and women to be members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the 18th term; at the same time, the treaty was completed to the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi for Ms. Bui Huyen Mai, member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi for Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Bui Huyen Mai said that this is a great pride, as well as a responsibility to the Party Committee, government, people of the capital and the Vietnam Fatherland Front system of the city.
According to Ms. Mai, the city is entering a new development stage with many opportunities and challenges intertwined. The apparatus is streamlined, with higher requirements for quality, efficiency, and operational efficiency.
For the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city, this is not only an objective requirement, but also a requirement of reality, so that the Front is truly a reliable bridge between the Party, government and people, a place to gather, arouse and promote the strength of great national unity.
The new Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi affirmed that in his new position, he will devote all his enthusiasm, intelligence, and sense of responsibility to best complete all assigned tasks.
In the immediate future, the important and urgent task is to work with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to focus on directing, guiding, and successfully organizing the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses in 126 communes and wards in the city in September 2025.
This is not only a political activity of great significance, but also an opportunity to strengthen confidence, arouse the spirit of solidarity, promote the intelligence and strength of the people, creating an important premise towards the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels.
