The Central Hydrometeorological Agency has just issued a warning of strong winds and big waves in the sea area of Da Nang city and Hoang Sa special zone, requesting ships and activities at sea to raise vigilance and proactively take measures to ensure safety.
According to current information, the sea area of Da Nang city recorded winds of level 5-6, sometimes gusting to level 7. The wave height in Son Tra area is low but the sea has shown signs of agitation. In the sea area of Hoang Sa special zone, the wind is stronger, commonly level 6, sometimes gusting to level 7-8, waves from 2.5 to 3.5 meters high, the sea is clearly rough.
In the coming time, Northeast wind will continue to be maintained in both areas. The sea area of Da Nang city has winds of level 5-6, gusts of level 7, waves 2.0 to 3.0 meters high. The sea area of Hoang Sa special zone maintains strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 7-8, waves commonly 2.5 to 3.5 meters high. At sea, there are scattered showers and thunderstorms, in thunderstorms there is a potential risk of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
Specialized agencies warn that the level of natural disaster risk due to strong winds at sea is at level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves, especially small-capacity fishing boats and offshore vehicles.
Previously, from the afternoon of January 6, fishermen's fishing boat QB 92589-TS encountered an accident while traveling to Da Nang Bay. The boat was submerged in water in an area about 3 nautical miles from Mui Tien Sa, forcing the captain to request urgent rescue. Da Nang City Border Guard forces quickly mobilized vehicles, approached the distressed boat, organized water pumping and towing it ashore safely. The crew members on board are currently in stable health.
From the above developments, functional agencies recommend that fishermen and vehicle owners regularly monitor forecast information, limit going out to sea when the weather is bad, proactively anchor safely, and ensure the safety of life and property.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
