The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that the weather in the North and Central regions will soon be affected by strong cold air.
The Northern and North Central regions will have scattered rain on the night of December 11 and December 12. Cold at night and morning, some mountainous areas in the North are very cold.
On the night of December 12 and December 13, the North and North Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain. In particular, the Northeast region, the west of Phu Tho province and the south of Son La province will have moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain.

The area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the east of Quang Ngai province will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.

The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Weather trend forecast from the night of December 14 to December 22
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has made a statement on notable weather trends in some areas from the night of December 14 to December 22.
The Northern region will have rain in some places on the night of December 13 to 16, especially in the plains on the night of December 13 there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. From around the night of December 16 to 18, the North will have scattered rain and showers.
From the night of December 13 to 15, it will be cold, with some places experiencing severe cold, especially in mountainous and midland areas, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold; from December 16, the night and morning will be cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold.
The North Central region will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms from the night of December 13 to the morning of December 8; then there will be rain in some places. The area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the east of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; especially from the night of December 13 to the end of the night of December 14, there will be rain, moderate rain, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Other areas will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.
