Communes, wards and special zones are also required to deploy shock forces to inspect and review coastal residential areas, streams, low-lying areas, areas at risk of flooding, flash floods, and landslides to proactively take response measures.
Especially in areas where heavy rain has occurred, causing flooding and landslides in recent days.
Lam Dong province requires competent authorities to review lake and dam works to have a plan to ensure safety; operate reservoirs to ensure safety for works and downstream areas, especially in emergency flood discharge situations.
Communes, wards and special zones are ready to deploy response plans to strong storms and floods after storms; prepare forces and means to deploy rescue and relief.

Lam Dong province requires owners of irrigation and hydroelectric reservoirs to monitor the developments of storm No. 15 to proactively regulate the reservoir capacity, ensure the safety of works and downstream areas; reserve appropriate capacity to receive floods according to regulations.
At the same time, the project owner strictly implements the operation procedures of reservoirs, irrigation reservoirs, and hydropower plants; develops a plan to respond to natural disasters and respond to emergency situations according to regulations.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, from November 17 to 23, Lam Dong experienced prolonged heavy rain, causing many communes and wards of the province to be flooded, causing heavy damage to people and property.
Authorities recorded 5 deaths and 1 injury; 2,784 households were affected and had their houses damaged, including 76 houses that collapsed or were swept away by floods; 4,457 hectares of crops, mainly crops, were affected; more than 9,000 livestock and poultry were swept away by floods.
Floods caused landslides and inundation at over 180 points on the route of the province. In particular, many large-scale landslides such as Prenn Pass, Mimosa Pass, National Highway 27C caused significant traffic disruption.
According to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, floods in recent days have caused an estimated damage of more than VND1,000 billion to the locality.
