On August 6, Tuy Duc Commune Police (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just supported Mr. Bui Duc Dien to return home safely after many days of being lost.
Previously, on August 5, forces participating in security and order protection at the grassroots level discovered a lost man in bon Me Ra, Tuy Duc commune, who did not remember the way home, so they reported it to the police.
Immediately after receiving the information, police officers came to visit, arranged temporary accommodation and food, and proceeded to verify personal information.
Through working, the man said his name was Bui Duc Dien, who used to live in Da Teh 3 commune (Lam Dong province) but did not remember the specific address of the family.
From the scarce information, the police force urgently searched the National Population Database, identified Ms. Bui Thi Xuan Dao (born 1992) as Mr. Dien's daughter and quickly contacted the family.
On the morning of August 6, after receiving the news, Ms. Dao and her relatives traveled more than 120km from Da Teh 3 commune to Tuy Duc commune to pick up their father to go home.
After completing the verification procedures, Tuy Duc Commune Police handed over Mr. Dien to his family.
Mr. Dien's relatives expressed their emotion and thanked the police force and the grassroots security and order protection team for their sense of responsibility and dedicated support, helping the family reunite soon.
