Nghe An - The Traffic Police promptly supported a critical stroke case, quickly took the patient to the hospital, and was saved by doctors.

On March 22, information from Nghe An Provincial Police said that the Traffic Police officers of the Provincial Police had just saved a citizen from danger.

At about 10:30 a.m. on March 21, 2025, while on patrol duty to control traffic safety and order at Km 32, National Highway 7C (Nghi Kieu commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An), Working Group No. 4 - Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Nghe An Provincial Police Traffic Police Department suddenly witnessed a white pickup truck with license plate 37C-553.01 stopping near the checkpoint.

From the car, a woman panicked and ran to the rescue team. She is Nguyen Thi Huong (born in 1978, residing in Nghia Phuc commune, Tan Ky district, Nghe An), who was traveling with her husband to Vinh city when suddenly her husband, Nguyen Canh Hoang (born in 1975), suffered a serious stroke.

In an urgent situation, the traffic police quickly put Mr. Hoang in a special vehicle, rang a priority horn to clear the road, and urgently moved him to Nghe An General Hospital. The nearly 25km journey is during rush hour with a large number of vehicles, causing many obstacles for movement. However, thanks to the flexible coordination and efforts of the traffic police, the relief vehicles overcame the congestion points and took the patients to the hospital as quickly as possible.

Thanks to timely emergency care, Mr. Nguyen Canh Hoang was out of danger and his health gradually stabilized. He is currently being monitored and treated at the hospital.

Moved by the support of the authorities, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong and her family sent their sincere thanks to Working Group No. 4 - Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Nghe An Police Traffic Police Department.

The incident once again affirms the sense of responsibility and action for the people of the Traffic Police force, contributing to building trust and peace of mind for people when participating in traffic.
