On the morning of May 17, in Vinh City, the Trade Union of Nghe An Provincial Party Agencies coordinated with the Provincial Party Agencies and Vietcombank to organize a voluntary blood donation program in 2025 with the theme "Squeezing the drop of pink - Giving love".
Attending the program were comrades: Ngo Dinh Vien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies; Tran Quang Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies, along with representatives of agencies, units, cadres, employees and volunteers.
From early morning, the program attracted a large number of cadres and workers to participate. Here, blood donors are screened and given full health consultation before performing noble gestures.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Ba Tuan Anh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Agencies Delegation emphasized: "Donating blood is a profound act of humanity, demonstrating community responsibility and a practical way to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style".
The program is a meaningful activity on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, welcoming Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to contribute to overcoming the shortage of blood at medical facilities, especially during peak summer.
According to the Organizing Committee, the program is expected to receive about 150 units of blood. In addition, communication work has also been strengthened to spread the voluntary blood donation movement more widely among cadres, civil servants and public employees in the whole province.
