On March 4, Phu Hoi Ward Police (Thuan Hoa District, Hue City) returned the property to Mr. O'Graday Lawrence (born in 1962, New Zealand nationality) after he dropped it while traveling in Hue.
Previously, at around 8:55 p.m. on March 3, Mr. Giap Phuong Hung (born in 1979, a cyclo driver, residing in Huong So ward, Hue city) picked up a black leather wallet on Nguyen Cong Tru street (Phu Hoi ward). Inside the wallet were personal documents and cash.
Immediately afterwards, Mr. Hung brought the wallet to Phu Hoi Ward Police for handover, asking the authorities to find it and return it to the person who dropped it.
After receiving the property, Phu Hoi Ward Police quickly verified and contacted Mr. O'Graday Lawrence to complete the return procedures.
Receiving the documents and assets back, Mr. O'Graday Lawrence expressed his joy and gratitude for Mr. Giap Phuong Hung's honest and humane actions. He also thanked Phu Hoi Ward Police for their support in verifying and helping him find the property.
This tourist said that thanks to the dedicated help, he felt secure to continue his journey to explore Hue City.
