Khanh Hoa - Discovering a large amount of money on the road, a young man in Khanh Hoa took it to the ward police to find and return it to the person who dropped it.

On the afternoon of March 6, the leader of the People's Committee of Vinh Hai Ward, Nha Trang City, said that he had just received a report from the Ward Police on the proposal to reward the example of "Good people, good deeds" for Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tai (born in 2002, residing in Vinh Hoa Ward, Nha Trang City).

Earlier, late on March 3, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tai was traveling home when he arrived at Mai Xuan Thuong Street (Vinh Hai Ward) when he discovered a stack of cash lying in the middle of the road.

When Mr. Tai picked up and determined the amount was more than 9.9 million VND, thinking that the person who dropped it must be worried about finding it, Mr. Tai tried to look around to return it.

However, after waiting for a while without seeing anyone passing by and not being able to determine the owner of the money, Mr. Tai immediately took the money to Vinh Hai Ward Police to hand it over to find and return it to the person who dropped it.

After 2 days of verification, Vinh Hai Ward Police identified the owner of the money Mr. Tai picked up as belonging to Mr. Nguyen Huu Khanh (born in 1968, residing in Group 3 Tay Bac, Vinh Hai Ward, Nha Trang).

Immediately afterwards, Vinh Hai Ward Police invited Mr. Khanh to the headquarters and returned the above amount.

According to the leader of Vinh Hai Ward Police, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tai's actions are a shining example of honesty and a beautiful, humane act that needs to be replicated, commended, and created a widespread influence in the whole society of the unit that reported the incident, and at the same time requested the People's Committee of Vinh Hai Ward to reward Mr. Tai.

Sharing about his actions, Mr. Tai said that this was the right thing to do. He was also happy to have found the owner of the above amount of money so that they could receive it back.
