The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has just issued Decision No. 1476/QD-UBND approving the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan of Luu Binh Industrial Park (IP) in Quang Xuong district. This is a high-tech industrial park with a total area of about 470 hectares, oriented to attract industries using advanced technology such as assembling electronic components, telecommunications, and information technology.
Luu Binh Industrial Park is located in the communes of Quang Binh, Quang Luu, Quang Loc and Quang Nhan. Border of the area: North borders Quang Nhan commune, South borders Tien Trang commune, East borders the North canal and existing residents, West borders Cong Truc industrial cluster and Farmstay tourism area according to the plan.
The project will be implemented in three phases: Phase 1 (161.3ha), Phase 2 (140.57ha) and Phase 3 (141.9ha). Internal traffic is organized closed, the road surface is 20.5 - 37m wide, meeting the requirements of underground technical infrastructure arrangement.
The factory and factory area is flexibly planned to assemble plots suitable for large investors. Administrative and public service areas are arranged near the entrance, including operating centers, accommodation, culture, fire prevention and fighting, exhibition services...
The technical infrastructure area is located in the Southwest, including a power station and a wastewater treatment plant. In addition, the plan is to reserve 18.65 hectares of land for building workers' housing and resettlement, providing accommodation for about 10,000 people, equivalent to 50% of the total labor force in the area.
The establishment of a specific planning for the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045, creates momentum for socio-economic development in the southern area of Thanh Hoa province.
