Green transformation is no longer an option but an inevitable requirement

1,000 delegates from 46 countries and international organizations attended the P4G Summit - with the theme "Sustainable green transformation, focusing on people" held on the afternoon of April 16 in Hanoi, showing the importance of green transformation and sustainable development.

Countries are concerned because the earth is facing many risks of natural disasters and epidemics, partly due to negative impacts on the environment by humans. People have exploited natural resources to the fullest, now they have to brace for the wounds caused by humans. These are devastated forests, ulcerated hills, and seabed filled with plastic waste that need to be revived.

On the same morning, at the Policy Dialogue Forum with the theme "Encouraging investment, business, promoting creative startups in the field of green transformation", Mr. Hoang Minh - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology - said: "Green transformation is no longer an option but an inevitable requirement".

Green transformation is an emergency, as the Earth is being destroyed, the human environment is increasingly threatened by natural disasters and natural disasters. Vietnam has pledged to develop and implement greenhouse gas emission reduction measures to achieve net emissions of 0 (abbreviated as Net Zero) by 2050, so many solutions must be implemented to achieve the target.

The weakest solution is to promote innovation, mobilize investment resources, and create a favorable environment for startups. The "startups" of green economic models, need to be prioritized for preferential capital, tax exemption and maximum conditions to make products.

Regarding this view, Mr. Pham Hong Quat - Director of the Department of Startups and Technology Enterprises (Ministry of Science and Technology) added: "We are committed to continuing to be a bridge between entities in the ecosystem, accompanying policy makers, businesses and international partners to realize sustainable development initiatives through green innovation".

Currently, many startups, creative businesses, launching technology products and green products, are needing support with smart and effective policies.

Products are creative, green, but it is necessary for people to green their lives. Green lifestyle is approachable to nature, respect and protect the environment and act to minimize carbon footprints.

Let's start taking green transformation action to develop the country sustainably, contributing to building a safe, peaceful and prosperous world.
