In Ho Chi Minh's ideology, emulation is patriotism, patriotism must compete. If each citizen, each collective, has a sense of striving, creativity, and dedication, the emulation movement will become a great driving force for the country to develop. And in that movement, typical advanced individuals, exemplary groups are the leading flag, the "backbone" for the community to follow. They not only complete their tasks excellently but also inspire, spread the spirit of commitment, dedication and creativity.
The 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress for Workers and Civil Servants took place on October 26 to honor 80 typical collectives and individuals in the emulation movements launched by the Trade Union over the past 5 years.
80 collectives and individuals are also living, practical and effective evidence of the vibrant emulation movements among the workforce. The number of 2,792,183 initiatives and technical improvements that bring a profit value of VND102,920 billion is very impressive, affirming that emulation movements do not stop at mobilization but also bring practical value, contributing to the overall development of the country.
Movements such as "The whole country unites, joins hands, and competes unanimously to prevent, combat and defeat the COVID-19 pandemic"; "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas"; "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure; practicing thrift, fighting waste"; "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas"; "For the poor, No one is left behind" ... create vibrant movements with specific programs and plans to discover outstanding and outstanding individuals and examples.
Our Party and State always consider the work of discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models as a key task in all emulation movements, because that is the most effective way to multiply the good values of the Vietnamese people. Participating in this work has an important role for the media and press in discovering, recording and spreading outstanding collectives and individuals in patriotic emulation movements.
In the current period, when the country is accelerating industrialization, modernization and green transformation, the spirit of patriotic emulation must be further fueled in each field: From innovation, environmental protection, energy saving to building new rural areas, civilized urban areas. There, the examples of "real people, real deeds" are the clearest proof of the spirit of "talking goes hand in hand", becoming a sharp weapon against formedness, achievement sickness and individualism.
The theme "racing for innovation, digital transformation, improving labor productivity, confidently entering a new era with the country" in the period of 2025 - 2030 will certainly continue to create new vitality, new values, and new typical collectives. These will be the fires that inspire the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.
