The Vietnam Green Construction and Green Transport Week 2025 with the theme "Innovation, promoting the development of Green Construction and Green Transport in a sustainable direction" chaired by the Ministry of Construction, in coordination with agencies and units, will take place on October 29, 2025.
The Ministry of Construction said that from 2020 to 2024, the Ministry of Construction has successfully organized the Vietnam Green Building Week, gathering more than 1,000 delegates each year, including many international experts and pioneering enterprises in materials, equipment, energy-saving solutions and environmentally friendly technology.
The event has become a leading prestigious forum in the field of green construction, contributing to promoting innovation, spreading energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.
2025 marks the expansion of scope and stature when the event officially merges the two fields of construction and transportation, reflecting the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW (December 22, 2024) on the development of science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation, along with major policies and strategies such as: National Program on energy-saving and efficient use (Decision 280/QD-TTg), Action Program on green energy conversion and reduction of carbon and methane emissions in the transportation industry (Decision 876/QD-TTg) and Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP (1.4.2025).
Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025 will feature many events including 01 plenary session, 04 thematic seminars and 01 exhibition of green products, works and green solutions in the field of construction and transportation such as: Green materials, energy saving; smart design solutions, advanced construction technology; introducing construction technology, green project management models, while promoting the development of green transportation systems, means of electricity and renewable energy to improve efficiency, reduce emissions and move towards the Net Zero 2050 target...
Within the framework of the event, there are also activities to honor organizations and individuals who have contributed to green development; award green project certificates; award prizes for student green architecture competitions.
With the above rich events, it is expected to attract over 1,000 delegates from ministries, branches, urban governments, agencies, organizations, domestic and international enterprises.
As part of the sideline activities of the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week in 2025, the Ministry of Construction will coordinate with the Hanoi People's Committee to organize a seminar with the theme "Solutions to promote Green Building and Green Transport towards the goal of sustainable development" with the participation of leaders of the Ministry of Construction and leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee, domestic and international organizations, businesses participating in consulting, investing in construction, managing and operating green buildings and green transport.
In particular, the plenary session will focus on the theme: "Innovation, promoting the development of Green Works and Green Transport towards sustainability" with the participation of leaders of ministries, branches, localities, and many domestic and foreign delegates from research institutes, universities, professional associations, experts, scientists, representatives of banks and credit institutions, manufacturing enterprises, investors, consulting units, designers, construction, construction management and operation of works and transport infrastructure...
The sides will discuss and discuss innovative strategies, application of advanced technology, digital transformation and green energy solutions in construction and transportation, to improve resource efficiency and reduce emissions to promote the development of green works and green transportation in Vietnam.
In addition, the thematic seminars will focus on key contents such as: developing green housing and real estate, applying new materials to save energy and reduce emissions, urban planning and green infrastructure, smart management solutions, as well as promoting green transport through energy conversion, electric vehicles, smart transport infrastructure contributing to the comprehensive development of the innovation ecosystem in construction and transportation.
On the sidelines of the event, an exhibition will take place with over 30 booths displaying in the form of billboards, models, product introductions... of organizations and businesses in the fields such as: green materials, ecology, vehicles, smart equipment, energy saving, consulting - project design, green project management, green finance...
