1. Stretch and numbness in the limbs at night
People with dyslipidemia are at risk of poor circulation, especially in the lower limbs. Night is when blood flow decreases, making your limbs susceptible to numbness or cramps when lying in one position for a long time. This could be an early warning that blood lipids are affecting the peripheral blood vessel system.
2. Difficulty sleeping, poor sleep
According to the Mayo Clinic, high blood fat increases the risk of atherosclerosis, which affects the supply of oxygen to the brain, leading to difficulty sleeping. Many people often wake up at midnight, have a nightmare, or do not sleep deeply without a clear cause.
3. Chest pain or chest tightness when lying on your side
High cholesterol causes cardiovascular pressure, making blood difficult to circulate. When lying on your side or changing your posture, you may feel chest tightness, chest tightness especially at night. This is a serious sign, possibly related to cardiovascular disease due to high blood fat.
Note
The above signs are not absolutely typical of high blood fat, but if they appear at the same time, you should have a blood lipid test and an early cardiovascular examination to prevent complications.
