You can also add soluble fiber in the form of cereals or beans to your dinner. Adding soluble fiber, omega-3s, and lean protein to your diet while limiting saturated and trans fats can help stabilize blood sugar and cholesterol. At the same time, it helps you feel full and energized.
A diabetic diet should focus on avoiding foods high in carbohydrates, including baked goods, processed snacks, and starchy foods.
