What is skim milk?
Skimmed milk or skimmed milk is a name for low-fat milk, this drink has almost no fat (only about 0.1%). This type of milk is made by removing the cream from whole milk.
Skimmed milk is low in fat and is a popular choice for dieters. Due to its high thermogenic effect, skimmed milk is especially beneficial for weight loss.
How to make skim milk at home

All you need to make skim milk is whole milk or buffalo milk. Note that you cannot make skim milk from cow's milk.
Step 1: Take a non-stick pan and add 20ml of water to the pan before adding the milk. This will prevent the milk from sticking to the bottom of the pan and burning.
Step 2: Pour whole milk into pan and heat over high heat for 10 - 15 minutes or until boiling.
Step 3: When the milk boils, turn off the heat and let cool for 1 - 2 hours.
Step 4: Once the milk has cooled to room temperature, place it in the refrigerator and leave it for 8 - 10 hours.
Step 5: After the milk cools, you will see a layer of cream or milk malai floating on top, use a spoon to scoop them out.
Step 6: Repeat the above steps two more times. The second time you boil the milk, you will notice less cream forming, and by the third time, there will be almost no cream left.
Step 7: After boiling whole milk three times and removing all the cream, you will get skim milk.
