Currently, Dak Lak province has a population size of more than 3.03 million people. Among them, there are a large number of elderly people, people with meritorious services to the revolution, people with disabilities, poor households, near-poor households and about 840,000 ethnic minorities living in the area.
From early morning, Ms. H Riao Kbuôr (Tan An ward) and more than 10 people in the village went for a health check-up. This year, at over 72 years old, she is still lucid even though she has many underlying diseases.
According to Ms. H Riao Kbuôr, this is the first time people in the village have had a large-scale health check-up. She feels very happy that ethnic minorities are concerned about their health by the Party and the State. For people, health is the most precious asset. With health, they can work, produce, take care of their families and raise their children.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the periodic health check-up and screening program for people is a major policy, rich in humanistic meaning, showing the deep concern of the Party and State for the work of protecting and caring for people's health.
This is also proof of the viewpoint of developing with people at the center, taking the health of the people as the foundation for the rapid and sustainable development of Dak Lak province in the new period.

According to the Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, through the pilot implementation process, the province will conduct assessments, draw lessons learned, and improve professional procedures, organization methods, human resource coordination, application of information technology and health data management before expanding throughout the province.
Periodic health check-ups will be integrated with medical examination and treatment activities; school health check-ups; health check-ups for workers and health insurance check-ups to ensure efficiency, economy and sustainability.
One of the important goals of the program is to gradually build and complete electronic health records for people. Each health check-up result not only helps to detect diseases early but also creates a database to monitor and manage health continuously through each stage of life, contributing to promoting digital transformation in the health sector.
Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee noted that, in order for the program to be implemented effectively, the People's Committees of communes and wards are requested to focus on reviewing and compiling a complete list of subjects eligible for health checks; preparing facilities, locations and human resources to support.
At the same time, not to miss subjects, especially the elderly, people with disabilities, poor households, ethnic minorities and people in difficult areas.
