Morning stiffness
When brushing or brushing towel, you feel the fingertips stiff and unable to move as usual. If this condition persists for more than 30 minutes, it may be a sign that urate crystals have begun to settle around the joint.
Red and hot in the fingertips
When the thumbs are suddenly red, hotter and warmer than the surrounding skin without a collision, this is an acute inflammatory reaction. That shows that uric acid in the blood has crystallized and caused joint irritation.
Swelling in the elbows
If the small gap behind the elbow suddenly becomes full, soft and feels foaming when touched, it is very likely that the fluid in this cavity has been penetrated by urate crystals, which are common in the early stages of gout.
Joint strain, flexible loss
When doing stretching that makes the elbows unable to stretch or bend at all as before, accompanied by a feeling of mild pain, this can be a sign that urate crystals are accumulating in the joint compartment, limiting movement.
Small nodules appear on the earrings
Observe the ear loan closely. If you feel a small, rice-like piece on the edge of your ear, it could be tophi, an early sign of gout due to urate salt crystallizing under your skin.
The ears change color
Normally, earrings are evenly pink. If an ear lobis is darker or redder than usual, this may reflect that blood circulation is affected by high uric acid levels.
