On November 25, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province issued the Plan to implement Resolution No. 107/NQ-CP dated July 9, 2024 of the Government and Action Program No. 81-CTr/TU dated August 19, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee, term XI, to implement Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee, term XIII, on continuing to build and promote the role of the intellectual team to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period.
The plan sets the goal of striving by 2030 to develop the intellectual team in terms of quantity and quality; having 15 doctors/10,000 people; 30% of high school officials having a master's degree or higher; 80% of college lecturers having a postgraduate degree; 35% of lecturers at the Provincial Political School having a doctorate degree.

Future orientation: develop Dong Thap University to become a university that meets the quality standards of the Southeast Asian region; develop Dong Thap Medical College to become a University of Health; the quality of vocational training and education is among the leading in the Mekong Delta region and the whole country.
