On March 31, Ho Chi Minh City 115 Emergency Center informed that the unit had received a call from the family of an urgent patient in Co Giang Ward, District 1. The patient was a female, about 75 years old, and after eating, she turned purple and unconscious. After reassuring the caller, the coordinator determined that the patient had stopped breathing.
Coordinators instruct callers to pump hearts into patients over the phone. In parallel with the first aid instructions, the coordinator quickly coordinated with the satellite station of Saigon General Hospital to approach the scene.

After receiving the coordination information, the satellite station of Saigon General Hospital assessed this as an emergency situation. The patient's home area has a small road and is crowded with vehicles.
Therefore, the hospital sent a team of 1 doctor and 1 nurse to take a 2-wheel ambulance carrying medicine and specialized medical supplies to the scene within just 5 minutes. At the scene, the patient was lying in front of the porch and was being given a heart attack by his family following the instructions via phone from hotline 115.

Through examination, it was noted that there was a condition of respiratory arrest suspected to be due to strong inhalation. The team performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation. At the same time, an additional ambulance and the hospital's crew were dispatched to the scene quickly.
After 10 minutes, the patient had a heart attack again. At the same time, an ambulance arrived at the scene and transported the patient to Saigon General Hospital. Patients continue to receive care and intensive treatment.
The patient was diagnosed with cardiac arrest, successful resuscitation arrest, acute respiratory failure, suspected to be due to shortness of breath causing pneumonia. Currently, the patient is conscious, able to come into contact, and is being taken off the ventilator.
