Recent studies show that just by changing a few simple actions right after waking up, the body can activate the natural fat burning process more effectively.
Dr. Rania Mekary, a nutritionist at Harvard University (USA) said: "The body has its own biological clock. If you know how to take advantage of the golden time in the morning, your metabolism will be strongly initiated, supporting better weight control".
One of the important tips is to drink a glass of warm water right after waking up. Water helps purify the liver and kidneys and stimulate the digestive system to work smoothly, thereby enhancing energy metabolism.
Second, take a Morning Sun bath for about 10-15 minutes. Natural light helps the body produce vitamin D, a hormone closely related to weight. Research shows that people with vitamin D deficiency are more likely to accumulate belly fat.
Third, do light exercise such as walking, yoga or stretching. This is a way to wake up the nervous and muscular system, while helping the body switch from a resting state to burning energy.
Finally, eat a breakfast rich in protein and fiber. A breakfast with eggs, oatmeal or Greek yogurt will help you feel full longer, control your appetite throughout the morning, and limit your excess calorie intake.
As Dr Mekary emphasizes: There is no miraculous secret to losing weight. But if you combine small morning habits with a healthy lifestyle, the body will automatically adjust and burn fat more effectively".
