On September 5, nearly 900 students of Xa Ho Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Hanh Phuc Commune, Lao Cai Province) gathered at the schools to welcome the new school year.
Of which, 487 H'Mong students at Sang Pao school were taken by their parents to the opening ceremony very early.
Khanh Thi Kieu Anh shared: "In the new school year, the school is beautiful, my children and I are all eager to come to the opening ceremony".

Teacher Lo Van Lien, Principal of Xa Ho Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, said: In 2022, since the Golden Heart Social and Cultural Fund and benefactors supported, Sang Pao has changed. On the old land, a 3-storey school with 6 spacious and solid classrooms, with an area of nearly 440m2, was built with a total cost of more than 3 billion VND. Since Sang Pao school was put into use, the school and students have had much less hardship.
Previously, the classrooms at this school were simple and neatly built with temporary wooden furniture or bamboo and rattan fences. It is better to have 4 classrooms built with corrugated iron sheets.

Especially on days of heavy rain and strong winds, these classrooms leak, corrugated iron houses are blown sideways by the wind; in cold weather, the wind recedes; in the summer, the sun is extremely hot.
"The Golden Heart School has helped hundreds of ethnic minority students more conveniently learn to read and write, reducing the economic burden for people, and shortening the educational gap between disadvantaged and disadvantaged areas" - Mr. Lien shared.

According to the record, along with the State's support policy and the attention of benefactors, the teaching and learning atmosphere at Xa Ho Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities is now much more vibrant and favorable.
In the first days of the school year, both teachers and students are creative and paint colorful paintings around the classroom...
On September 5, 1,040 educational institutions with 465,012 students in Lao Cai province simultaneously opened. Previously, schools have renovated and decorated facilities, equipment, and teaching equipment to prepare for the new school year 2025-2026.
