The Golden Heart Charity Fund has just coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Nha Trang ward (Khanh Hoa province) to organize the presentation of 100 Tet gifts to support people heavily affected by the historic floods at the end of 2025.
Each gift is worth 200,000 VND, including essential necessities such as: rice, fish sauce, sugar, salt from the joint contributions of philanthropists and is handed directly to poor households, lonely people, and rented workers in the ward.
This is the opening activity for the Tet care program for people in difficult circumstances in Khanh Hoa, implemented annually by the Golden Heart Charity Fund during the Lunar New Year.
Receiving a gift before the New Year, Ms. Truong Thi Muoi (70 years old, renting a room in Vinh Diem 2 village, Tay Nha Trang ward) could not hide her emotion.
Living alone and making a living by trading small-scale fruits at the market, Mrs. Muoi suffered heavy losses in the flood when her rented room was deeply flooded, and many household items were completely damaged.
This Tet gift helps me and many other difficult circumstances have more conditions to celebrate a warmer Tet," Ms. Muoi shared.

According to leaders of Tay Nha Trang ward, after the merger, the locality has an area of 27.89km2 with more than 108,000 people. During the historic floods at the end of 2025, about 80% of households in the area were flooded, causing serious damage to property and lives.
Faced with that situation, the ward urgently implemented measures to respond, provide relief and overcome the consequences. The total support resources received include 136.9 billion VND and 1,320 tons of rice.
Thanks to the involvement of the government, the Fatherland Front, mass organizations and the joint efforts of organizations and individuals, people's lives have gradually stabilized and soon returned to normal activities.
To date, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Nha Trang ward has received tens of thousands of supplies, hundreds of tons of rice and nearly 1.75 billion VND in cash and transfers.
In the days leading up to the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, gifts continue to be given to people, contributing to helping flood victims celebrate Tet happily, warmly and have more faith in the new year.
