Ea Bong Primary School has 2 branches, serving students in all 5 grades in the area. Among them, Buon D'Ham branch has a large number of students who are children of ethnic minorities. As a remote school point, this place once faced many difficulties in terms of facilities and learning conditions.

Before June 2025, the facilities at Buon D'Ham branch were degraded. The schoolyard is mainly earthen floors, classrooms do not meet the needs of teaching and learning well, becoming a concern for teachers, parents and students, especially in the rainy season.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thai Thinh, a teacher working at the school, said that she has been attached to this place for about 20 years.

At the beginning of 2025, the Buon D'Ham branch has not been repaired, the dirt yard affects the student movement activities. Dusty in the sunny season, muddy in the rainy season. Sometimes many children fall and get their legs torn by thorns. Looking at that scene, in my role in charge of the Team, I am very sad," Ms. Thinh shared.

In this context, the Golden Heart Charity Fund and philanthropists have supported the school to renovate and upgrade. By July 2025, the facilities at the Buon D'Ham branch will be repaired and upgraded, bringing a more spacious appearance.

The schoolyard is paved with bricks; classrooms are repaired, upgraded and supplemented with facilities. From a school point with many difficulties, Buon D'Ham now has a more convenient learning and playing space for students.

According to Ms. Thinh, since being repaired, the schoolyard has become a safer playground for children. The school also has the conditions to organize many extracurricular activities, physical training, creating a cheerful learning atmosphere and helping students become more attached to the school.

“The children have play space, the school organizes more extracurricular activities. This helps them develop both physically and mentally and have more interest in learning,” Ms. Thinh shared.

Joy in the new school

In the 2026-2027 school year, Buon D'Ham branch, Ea Bong Primary School has 8 classes with 198 students, mostly children of local ethnic minorities.

Ms. H Yang Knul, a teacher at Ea Bong Primary School who is teaching here, said that improved learning conditions bring clear joy to students, especially 1st graders.

Grade 1 students are very excited to study in the new classroom. Especially, for students who are children of ethnic minorities, a better learning environment will create more motivation for them to study and realize their dreams and ambitions," Ms. H Yang Knul shared.

According to Mr. Bui Van Huan, Principal of Ea Bong Primary School, improved facilities help teachers feel more secure in teaching; and at the same time create motivation for students to love the school, love the class and firmly pursue their studies.

The support of the Golden Heart Charity Fund and philanthropists not only brings a new face to the Buon D'Ham branch, but also contributes to creating a better foundation for the long-term learning journey of students in remote areas.
