This is a tournament organized by the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF) in coordination with the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province, Vietravel and Hanaka from July 02 to 11, at the Hanaka Paris Ocean Park Complex.
This is one of the important tournaments in the national youth tournament system, contributing to the discovery and fostering of promising talents, gradually improving the quality of young athlete training, aiming for major goals in the development strategy of Vietnamese tennis at the regional and international levels.
This year's tournament brings together nearly 300 athletes from nearly 15 provinces and cities across the country, competing in 28 events for the U8 - U18 age groups. According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Vice President and General Secretary of VTF, this year's tournament took place at the same time as the whole country was entering a new era. He hopes that the young athletes will carry their aspirations, compete with the highest determination to step up to the podium of glory.
Specially in this tournament, young Vietnamese athletes will have the opportunity to meet, interact and observe the Davis Cup athletes of 10 countries - tennis idols from Asia/Ocean Ocean competing in the Davis Cup Group III from July 14 to 19 at Hanaka Park Ocean Park, Mr. Son emphasized.
This year's tournament recognizes the participation of delegations from major tennis centers across the country such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang City, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Hai Phong City, Thanh Hoa, Son La... along with typical clubs such as Thanh Cong Club (Dak Lak) and Hieu Trung Club (Ho Chi Minh City) ...
The presence of delegations from all three regions of the North - Central - South not only shows the widespread appeal of the tournament, but also reflects the widespread and even development of the youth tennis movement in Vietnam.
