On the morning of April 27, in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, a conference was held to summarize 5 years of implementing the Project "Mobilizing overseas Vietnamese to participate in introducing and consuming Vietnamese products and distribution channels abroad in the period of 2020-2024".
The conference was jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, attracting nearly 250 delegates to attend in person and online.
Opening speech, Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang highly appreciated the results of the project implementation, emphasizing that the project has contributed to promoting export and promotion of Vietnamese culture to the world. At the same time, the Party and the State always attach importance to the contribution of the overseas Vietnamese community, considering this as an important resource for socio -economic development.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province Nguyen Tan Tuan affirmed that Khanh Hoa province with its favorable geographical location has promoted the export of many typical products such as bird's nest, agarwood, seafood... to the international market. The conference also acknowledged the active support of overseas Vietnamese in connecting products of Khanh Hoa province with international markets.
During the 5 years of implementation, many Vietnamese products, especially from Khanh Hoa, have been successfully exported to demanding markets such as the EU, Japan, the US and Canada. Overseas Vietnamese enterprises have contributed to building national brands, not only serving the Vietnamese community but also being favored by local consumers.
The conference also focused on discussing challenges and opportunities in expanding the distribution channel of Vietnamese goods to the world. Delegates emphasized the need to diversify distribution channels, especially in emerging and demanding markets. Overseas Vietnamese, with their strength in networking and experience, play an important role in connecting domestic and foreign resources.

Delegates also proposed policies to support overseas Vietnamese to promote their role in the country's economic development, especially in connecting trade and promoting investment. The conference witnessed the signing of cooperation memorandums of understanding between businesses and associations, opening up opportunities for cooperation and stronger development.
At the end of the conference, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang acknowledged the contributions of the delegates and said that the results of the conference will be an important basis to continue developing policies and laws, creating favorable conditions for overseas Vietnamese in promoting the development of the country, and expanding the export opportunities of Vietnam to the world.
