The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism awards Certificates of Merit to athletes and coaches with international achievements

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will award Certificates of Merit to 36 athletes and 11 coaches for their outstanding achievements at international tournaments in 2025.

Recently, Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism signed Decision No. 2119/QD-BVHTTDL on the Certificate of Merit for individuals with outstanding achievements at international sports competitions in 2025. The list includes 36 athletes and 11 coaches.

Accordingly, 6 athletes of the national billiards team and the Ho Chi Minh City billiards team were awarded for their good achievements at the Asian Carom Billiard Championship (Korea) and the World Team Carom Championship (Germany). In addition, coach Nguyen Viet Hoa - who directly guided the athletes also received a Certificate of Merit.

The Vietnamese cloud computing team has 13 athletes receiving Certificates of Merit for their achievements at the World Cloud computing Cup (India) and Asia (Malaysia). Coaches Tran Thi Vui and Hoang Duc Luong are also recognized for their leading roles in the team.

Meanwhile, in the boxing team, 4 male athletes won medals at the U15-U17 Asian Championship (Jordan). In addition, coaches Nguyen Thanh Phong, Nguyen Trung Dinh, Nguyen The Nam, and Vu Hung Cuong were also awarded Certificates of Merit for their excellent coaching and direction achievements.

In addition, 13 kickboxing athletes of national teams, Gia Lai and Dong Thap kickboxing teams were also honored with coaches Dang Van Quang, Tran Bao Son and Ho Thanh Liem for their achievements at the World kickboxing Cup championship in Thailand.

This is an important recognition of the tireless contributions of athletes and coaches, contributing to raising the level of Vietnamese sports in the international arena in 2025.
