Thanh Thuy, Bich Tuyen top at AVC Nations Cup
According to statistics of the 10 tallest athletes of the teams participating in the AVC Nations Cup 2025, Vietnam has 2 representatives, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy (1m90) and Bich Tuyen (1m88).
The Australian women's team has up to 5 names on this list. They have the two tallest players in this year's tournament, Anni Tang, a middle blocker who is only 17 years old but is 1m96 tall and Lauren Cox (1m93).
This year, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has an advantage when the AVC Nations Cup is held at the Dong Anh District Gymnasium, Hanoi from June 7 to June 14.

U21 Vietnam plays a friendly match
On the afternoon of June 5, the Vietnam U21 women's volleyball team had a friendly match with the Philippines women's team ahead of the AVC Nations Cup 2025.
This will be a good opportunity for the whole team to practice and learn from experience. The Vietnam U21 Women's Team is preparing for the 2025 U21 Women's Youth Volleyball World Cup, which will take place from August 7 to August 17 in Indonesia. At this time, the U21 Vietnam women's team is practicing at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi).
This is also the place to prepare for the AVC Nations Cup 2025, with the participation of 8 women's teams from Asia. Some young faces will be calculated to be used for the national team in the coming time.
AVC surveys Dong Anh Stadium
On June 5, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) together with the organizing committee surveyed the conditions of Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi), training conditions, ... before the AVC Nations Cup 2025.
Currently, the stages of organizing, preparing and arranging competition, training and rest conditions for athletes have been almost completed by the organizing committee and have met the requirements set by the Asian Volleyball Federation.

According to the match schedule, the Vietnam women's volleyball team will face Hong Kong (China) in the opening match on June 7. After that, Thanh Thuy and her teammates will meet Taiwan (China) on June 8, India on June 11 and Australia on June 12.
