The 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Tournament will officially kick off on June 9, in Ho Chi Minh City with matches taking place on 4 courts including: Thong Nhat, Dat Duc, HFF and District 8.
The Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation (HFF) is authorized by the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to host this tournament.
In the host cities, District 8 Stadium was chosen to host 3 matches, including the opening match with the participation of the defending champion, the Thai U19 women's team.

However, according to Lao Dong's records on June 4, the grass of District 8 Stadium is quite unstable, with high and low levels. Previously, yesterday (September 3), District 8 Stadium was just leased to organize an amateur football match.
Besides the grass, the paths and the stands have cracks, wild grass and are quite shabby, although there are only a few days left until the tournament starts.
Talking to Lao Dong, a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation said that the grass of District 8 is still good. However, the HFF said that the organizing committee will soon fix the situation of the stadium's grass.
The HFF representative also informed that the organizing committee is urgently tending the grass of Dat Duc Stadium (Go Vap District) in time for the tournament's start date.
It is known that on the afternoon of June 4, staff arrived at District 8 Stadium to fix the grass of the stadium.

District 8 Stadium has a grandstand area with limited seating. This place is often rented out to organize grassroots football matches and is also a familiar location for many domestic athletics tournaments with a fairly new piste.

The 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Tournament will take place from June 9 to June 18. In this tournament, U19 Vietnam women's team is in Group A with Myanmar, Laos and Timor Leste. Group B includes Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia and Malaysia.
