Young Vietnamese volleyball players to be sought after in 2025

Many talented young volleyball players competing in the 2025 national A-class tournament are being watched by clubs and asked to be loaned.

At the end of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship, two women's clubs had to play in the 2025 National A-League, Quang Ninh and Hanoi. These are also two teams with outstanding players, playing for the national team and the U20 women's youth team. Therefore, they were asked to borrow by some clubs in the National Championship.

As for Quang Ninh, right after the 2024 season ended, the mining team reached an agreement to loan striker Vi Thi Nhu Quynh to Vietinbank club. Here, the 2002-born striker reunited with coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet.

The two teachers and students understand each other very well after the time Mr. Kiet led the Quang Ninh team (2 seasons from 2021 to 2023) and the Vietnamese women's volleyball team. Although she does not have an outstanding height (1m75), in return, Nhu Quynh has very good jumping power and physical strength. The Thai ethnic girl possesses strong smashes thanks to her very strong wrist strength. She is a quality addition to the Vietinbank squad next season.

Meanwhile, a representative of the Hanoi women's volleyball team said that the club has also received a lot of attention from other teams. Many offers to borrow players have been made to the board of directors, but the team is still calculating and has not yet finalized the case of any athlete.

Despite not having strong investment resources, the youth training work of the Hanoi Women's Club is highly appreciated. In fact, in the second phase and the final round of the 2024 National Championship, the girls of the capital had impressive performances. Despite being relegated, the professional mark of the young Hanoi players is very clear.

Some prominent faces include setter Yen Nhi or players of the Vietnam U21 women's team such as Anh Thao, Pham Thuy Linh, Le Thuy Linh. Therefore, it is not difficult to understand why this club receives many invitations to borrow players.

However, with what they showed last season, this team is still fully capable of competing for promotion, so the leaders and coaching staff of Hanoi need to carefully calculate to ensure the team's performance in the A league.

According to the regulations, each team competing in the A-League is allowed to lend up to 2 players to clubs in the national championship. With teams increasing their borrowing requests and preparing personnel, the 2025 season promises to have many attractive and highly professional competitions.

Phase 1 of the 2025 national championship will start from March 22 to March 31 in Dong Anh (Hanoi), and phase 2 will start from October 10 to October 19 in Ninh Binh.

With many tournaments from club level to national team being held in 2025, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will certainly have appropriate considerations, how to make the national championship both meet the requirements of expertise, attract fans, and ensure conditions for athletes of the national men's/women's team to be able to best prepare for international tournaments, focusing on the 33rd SEA Games.
