The leaders of the Information and Communications Corps held a conference to commend and reward the collective of the Information and Communications Corps - 19th Division women's volleyball team to receive a gold medal at the 2025 National U23 tournament.
The tournament recently ended at the Thai Nguyen Provincial Gymnasium. On July 30, head coach Pham Van Long and the team's players were honored.
At the Conference, Commander of the Information and Communications Corps, Major General Vu Viet Hoang encouraged the spirit of the entire team. At the same time, the unit's leaders acknowledged the efforts in preparing professionally so that the Youth Women's Volleyball Team of the Information Corps - BD 19 could defeat the Youth Team of Duc Giang Chemicals in the final match to win the championship. With the 2025 National U23 Championship, the players were awarded 100 million VND.
This year, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 National U23 Tournament awarded the prize of 20 million VND to the champion team of the women's event.
Currently, the Youth Women's Volleyball Team of the Information Corps - Team 19 has 3 players participating in the Vietnam Youth Women's Volleyball Team to compete in the 2025 U21 World Youth Women's Volleyball Tournament: Lai Thi Khanh Huyen, Pham Quynh Huong, Ngo Thi Bich Hue. In particular, the main striker Pham Quynh Huong is considered a player with good potential for professional development in the future of Vietnamese women's volleyball.
