As part of the preparation plan for the 33rd SEA Games taking place in December 2025, on November 16, the Vietnam women's team traveled to Phu Tho to enter an important training phase.
This is a period of time that the coaching staff considers to be of key significance, helping the whole team complete the physical foundation and adjust tactics before entering the international training trip.
On the first day of traveling to Viet Tri, coach Mai Duc Chung immediately deployed the first training sessions to maintain the movement rhythm and review the force.
In addition to two players Vu Thi Hoa (Hanoi Sports Training Center) and Duong Thi Van (Than Khoang San Viet Nam) continuing to practice lightly according to their own training program to recover their health, the remaining players all showed a relaxed spirit, good physical condition and high concentration for the common goal.

The cool weather conditions in Viet Tri are considered suitable, helping the training sessions take place smoothly. The coaching staff spends more time on group coordination, enhancing the ability to change states as well as perfecting attack - defense pieces. This is also an opportunity for new recruits and young players to better integrate into the general playing style.
According to the plan, the Vietnam women's team will practice at Viet Tri Stadium until November 20, then leave for Japan to train with high-quality friendly matches.

This is considered an important test step for coach Mai Duc Chung and his colleagues to evaluate their performance, choose the optimal framework, and aim for the highest goal at the 33rd SEA Games.
The arrangement of the women's team to train in Japan is a great effort of the Vietnam Football Federation to best prepare the team.
