The race in Can Gio starts on the morning of May 1. The race will compete with distances of 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km, attracting 5,000 domestic and international athletes and thousands of cheerleaders. Athletes depart from Vinhomes Green Paradise Can Gio, running 5km – 10km on the sea route. Next is the 21km – 42km forest crossing distance.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Le Thi Van Anh - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the race said that Can Gio is a rare place that converges both the sea - forest - world biosphere reserve recognized by UNESCO and heroic historical baggage. Through the race, the organizing committee hopes to bring to Can Gio not only a race, but also contribute to starting the journey to make Can Gio a marathon destination with international influence.
