Nguyen Huy Hoang will return home after a long training course in China, then go to Japan.
The training session is for the Vietnamese swimming team for key athletes preparing for ASIAD 20.
According to the professional program, Huy Hoang and his teammates will go to Japan to participate in ASIAD 20 in the middle of next week.
Currently, the Vietnamese swimming team has Nguyen Huy Hoang and Tran Hung Nguyen, Pham Thanh Bao, Vo Thi My Tien, Mai Tran Tuan Anh, Nguyen Quang Thuan, Duong Van Hoang Quy, Nguyen Thuy Hien training in China to prepare for ASIAD 20.
Huy Hoang is the most experienced and elderly swimmer in the squad of athletes registered to compete in ASIAD 20 of the Vietnamese swimming team.
Last week, young player Tran Van Nguyen Quoc finished his Chinese training and soon returned to Da Nang to continue training before going to Japan to attend ASIAD 20.
The swimming event of ASIAD 20 is held from September 20 to September 25.
The swimmers will compete at the competition venue in Tokyo (Japan), not in Aichi-Nagoya (Japan).
The swimming event of ASIAD 20 includes 41 official events.
