The 2025 National Volleyball Championship has 8 men's teams and 8 women's teams participating.
8 men's teams: MB Border Guard, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Da Nang, Hanoi, LaVie Long An, LP Bank Ninh Binh, Sanest Khanh Hoa, The Cong Tan Cang.
8 women's teams: Geleximco Thai Binh, Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals, LP Bank Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Bac Information, Vietin Bank, VTV Binh Dien Long An, Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement.
The round-robin format will be played once, then the top 4 teams will qualify for the final round and the top 4 teams will compete in the relegation round. At the end of the tournament, there will be 1 champion team and 1 relegated team.
This year, phase 1 will take place at Dong Anh District Gymnasium, Hanoi from March 22-31 and phase 2 from October 10-19, at Ninh Binh Gymnasium.
